Appril is an annual festival in April in Amsterdam where app pioneers, makers, users, creators and groupies get together and shape a future. With our activities, we help people realise their ideas through technology. We believe the digital revolution can bring us many wonderful things when you combine knowledge, expertise, creativity and fun.

Playground for a Day

Appril and Festival of Games are looking for cross overs between appsand games during ‘Playground for a Day’. What do these developers havein common? What can they learn from each other? Where do they findinspiration?
The day is filled with workshops, seminars en demos of games and apps anda Talent Fair where companies share their knowledge and experience. Anddon’t forget: The final party <>Hello Amsterdam<> in the Supperclub.

Talent

A large part of the hall –De Overkant- is reserved for a talent fair. Gamingcompanies and schools are looking for new talent and students. Entry is forfree after online registration.
Developers will tell you what it’s like to work for them. Recruitment agencieswill explain what it takes in terms of skills, knowledge and experience to workin the industry.

Appril and Festival of Games collaborate to share knowledge and expertiseand to make sure that the app and games industries are connected. Thereforwe invite professionals from both industries to come and join us.
